What We Do

Outdoor Spaces Built for Georgia Living

A well-built patio is more than a slab. It is an extension of your home where you grill, entertain, and unwind. We design and pour patios that fit your yard, your style, and the way you actually want to live outside.

  • Stamped, stained, broom, or exposed-aggregate finishes
  • Fire-pit surrounds, seating walls, and built-in features
  • Proper slope for drainage so your patio stays dry and safe
  • Seamless transitions to existing hardscape and landscaping
  • Designs scaled to your yard and budget
Materials & Reinforcement

Our Residential Concrete Build Specs

A patio has to stay flat and crack-controlled through years of Georgia sun, rain, and clay movement. Every patio slab we pour is built to the same structural standard.

Concrete Mix4,000 PSI air-entrained concrete, a high-strength blend with microscopic air bubbles that help it shrug off Georgia freeze-thaw swings and de-icing salt.
Reinforcement#4 rebar on 16 to 18 inch centers, or 6x6 W1.4 welded wire mesh, sized to the slab and the loads it will carry.
Slab & BaseA 4-inch slab poured over a compacted graded aggregate base (GAB), the crushed-stone foundation that keeps the pour level and well drained.
Control JointsSaw-cut control joints placed on a planned grid, so any natural hairline movement follows the joint instead of the surface.
CuringWet-cure or a curing compound so the slab gains strength slowly. Concrete reaches about 70% of its rated strength in 7 days and full strength at 28 days.

These are the same fundamentals we hold to on every residential pour across Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Dunwoody, and the wider Atlanta metro. On expansive Georgia clay, the base prep and reinforcement below the surface matter as much as the finish on top.

Good Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a concrete patio cost?
A basic broom-finished patio is the most budget-friendly option, while stamped and stained patios with features like seating walls cost more. We give a free, detailed written quote based on your design.
Stamped concrete or pavers for a patio?
Stamped concrete gives a similar high-end look with fewer joints for weeds to grow through and less long-term shifting. It is often the better value, and we will walk you through both honestly.
Can you match my patio to my home?
Yes. We offer a wide range of patterns and colors so your patio complements your home's brick, siding, and existing hardscape.
How long before I can use my new patio?
You can walk on it in about 24 hours. We recommend keeping heavy furniture off for about a week while it cures.
